I'm Not a Christmas-Book Poet
I'm not a Christmas-book poet
I'm rather some of the other
There's so much of the inchoate
Just before holidays to smother
Flocking of page after page
With nothing to say but blabber
When pomp becomes the stage
Attention advertisement grabber
I'm not a Christmas-book author
With frippery flap of a look
With all its weight and its pother
Having customers cached on hook
The glossy trendsetter's aren't me
With all to much about nothing
Vacuous packages in harmony
The parcel of a good advertising
I'm not a Christmas-book reader
Finding its habits - its worth
Book after book cheapest seeder
Something that's quite stillbirth
It has no comfort in some beauty
Only the quantity it could unfold
It is as tasteless - as each duty
The ongoing art leaves in the cold
